To use a Dropbox account for file management within GC, you must contact us and provide your API key.
Steps to configure your Dropbox account:
- Go to: https://www.dropbox.com/developers/apps
- Click on Create app
- Choose whether the app should have access:
- to the root of your Dropbox
- or to a specific folder created for the app
- Enter a name for the app (e.g.,
GC) - Generate the API key (access token) and share it with us
- Make sure the access token does not expire
- Under permissions, grant full read and write access
With this setup, GC will be able to integrate directly with your Dropbox account for reading and writing files, ensuring efficient and accessible document management.
