1. Message:
Only the condominium administrator can issue a receipt
When issuing rent receipts integrated with the Portuguese Tax Authority (AT), GC may display specific messages that are returned directly by the AT system.
If this message appears when trying to issue a receipt, it means that GC is configured to integrate with the AT, but there is an issue with the configured access credentials.
What to check:
- Check if the contract number with the Tax Authority is filled in the unit record
- Validate the Issuer NIF and Issuer Password fields in the condominium record
- The credentials must belong to the condominium administrator recognized by the Tax Authority
⚠️ This message comes directly from the AT.
If the data is not correctly configured, the AT will block the receipt issuance.
2. Message:
dataInicio: Cannot be earlier than the contract start date
This message also comes from the AT and refers to the start date of the rental contract registered with the tax authorities.
What it means:
- The start date entered on the receipt cannot be earlier than the official contract start date registered with the AT;
- Check the start date of the contract on the AT portal;
- If necessary, adjust the date on the receipt to comply with AT rules.
This validation is enforced automatically by the Portuguese Tax Authority.
3. Message:
You must save before you can print
Sometimes it’s necessary to make changes to the budget structure or distribution, even after the values have been loaded.
These changes may interfere with the system’s ability to calculate or validate the budget properly. In such cases, the message “You must save before you can print” may appear.
How to resolve:
- Go to
Budgets > Drafting > Cost Structure
and click Save; - Then go to
Budgets > Drafting > Cost Distribution
, ensure the distribution is set for the correct year, and click Save; - If the Administrative Year is calculated separately, go to
Budgets > Drafting > Administrative Year
, confirm, and Save.
Finally, go to the main budget screen, save, and then print.
